Today I continue to observe hipocracy at work from our lead on the job site for Atlas Door Repair. Besides the regular driving erratically and being generally moody, this person continues to set rules for me and one other worker and then break them himself. Wasting time has been a big part of his nagging on us but he seems to disappear whenever we are ready and at the meeting point.
It's a wonder that he still has a job. I feel like he's not connecting with any of the customers by going into the front of the businesses instead he is hanging back and on the phone most of the day. Then this guy returns to the office and tells the boss that he actually did connect with business owners when I and my co-worker rarely observe him talking with anyone.
Although he spend about 45 minutes yesterday talking about a new washer/dry at an appliance store in Phoenix- Glendale. We had just finished lunch too and after we sat in the car waiting for this guy for almost an hour, he complains that our numbers were too low. I don't know how I'm supposed to work on my numbers if our driver is constantly missing or occupied shopping for appliances.
