Atlas 3-12-13
At approx 1330hr while in the car with Ken Williams and Carmen Sanchez
I was confronted while responding to a direct question posed by Ken.
The result of the conversation was yelling and job related threats by
Ken Williams directed towards me in hostile tones.
The question posed to me by Mr Williams was similar to: "did you see
how I turned that customer around, Trevor?" he was referencing a
conversation with the general manager of The Oink bistro in Scottsdale
in which he convinced the person that our company had done services on
their doors before.
I answered that I observed: "that you confirmed to the potential
customer that we did door service."
To which he replied: " I don't know of we did door service and I
didn't say that!"
Then I rephrased: "so you did not confirm or deny that we did door
service to that man?"
To this Ken Williams got frustrated and denied lying to the customer
and loudly disagreed with my statements. I simply explained that "you
wanted me to share what I observed and asked me quite directly what I
heard and saw."
The reponse went something like "if you don't like the way we at Atlas
door do business then maybe your aren't cut out to work for us and I
can take care of that right now."
It was quite after that and the usual joking in the car did not
resume. This event was witnessed by Carmen Sanchez who while this was
going on did not make any sounds.
As it has become more usual with my work at Altas door repair, I have
received skin rashs on my right arm near the elbow, right eyelid, left
and right forearms, and left knee due to fiberglass in the labels that
are required for me to touch in order to do my job. I have reported
this to my shift leaders Ken Williams and Scott. Mr Williams informed
me that previous workers have had this issue and that I needed to
continue working and simply "be careful."
Carmen Sanchez and Ken williams both confirmed that a previous
employee named Brandon had received the same toxic rash at work.
Personally this rash along with the slew of racial slang, religious
insults and sexual orientation related comments that are and have been
made by both Ken Walliams and Scott are hindering my ability to do my
job and to earn a living in a peaceful way.
Both Carmen Sanchez and I have suffered limited to no bathroom breaks.
